Early Trauma

In my opinion one of the most destructive aspects of early trauma is an avoidance of emotions – our own and others – however this does not need to be permanent condition. With patience, guidance and grace, one can slowly begin to tolerate difficult emotions and therefore attain a greater degree of emotional independence.
